Live in Jan 2024: VaxApp’s PPA portal integration for the NIPVIP Program

Information for current VaxApp clients

As the National Immunisation Program (NIP) rolls out in pharmacies at the beginning of next year, VaxApp clients will have access to PPA claiming for the NIPVIP Program in January 2024.

Since VaxApp is already used by many local governments to deliver NIP to their communities across Australia, our robust, secure, and compliant infrastructure for NIP is already in place.

This means that as soon as the PPA portal integration for the NIPVIP Program is available, we’ll plug into it – giving you the same seamless access you currently have for claiming COVID-19 vaccinations through PPA.

VaxApp is trusted by long-time immunisation providers to keep their communities up-to-date:

Information for future VaxApp clients

If you’re ready to deliver NIP in your pharmacy as early as January 2024, VaxApp is ready to help you claim the vaccinations through PPA’s NIPVIP Program.

Regardless of when you become a VaxApp client, as soon as you’re onboarded, you’ll be able to make PPA claims via VaxApp’s Pharmacy Vaccination Module.

"VaxApp reduces the risk and worry for our pharmacists delivering vaccination programs in pharmacy and workplaces. Pharmacy has seen the number of vaccines we are able to deliver increase over the past years across most states in Australia, with the expanded scope of practice now to include NIP and travel vaccines. VaxApp’s Eligibility Engine has assisted us in making sure clients arrive informed and when they are eligible to be vaccinated. The automated communications built into the platform have also reduced our no-show rates. As more vaccines are approved to be delivered in pharmacy, we know VaxApp will assist us in mitigating the risks involved with growing our programs."

Not just another tab

In the last decade, pharmacy-based vaccinations in Australia have soared, but the technology for managing vaccination programs hasn’t kept up. This has left pharmacies limited digitally and forced into clunky, paper-based workflows or workarounds.

With the expanded scope of vaccine delivery knocking on pharmacy doors, VaxApp’s end-to-end, pharmacy-focused vaccination management platform can help you ensure you’re well-equipped to streamline your entire vaccination service.

Use VaxApp to automate:

What is VaxApp?

VaxApp is an all-in-one digital immunisation management platform for pharmacies.

It’s built on 25 years of vaccination experience within the Australian immunisation space.

The complex processes, administrative tasks, clinical workflows – all the nitty gritty required to run immunisation services efficiently and effectively – have been built into the platform from the get-go.

But the best part? The complexities of the platform sit behind an easy-to-use interface that’s ridiculously intuitive…and has even been called “delightful to use”.

Discover how to boost your vaccination services

Turn your immunisation team into a revenue generating machine

We’ve seen our pharmacy clients generate new revenue from their vaccine programs in different ways, but a couple of the simplest solutions include…

Let VaxApp’s Eligibility Engine prompt the uptake of additional vaccines

When you use VaxApp, our world-first vaccine Eligibility Engine is always running in the background – powering the online booking and consent portal.

It takes into account over 30 data points from a client’s profile and automates the suggestion of vaccines they’re eligible to receive and when they can have them.

By doing this, the Eligibility Engine helps clients stay on track with NIP by providing customised and personalised reminders based on their specific medical profile – ensuring they have the right vaccines at the right times.

The Eligibility Engine also prompts the purchase of paid vaccines where appropriate and enables you to set your prices (including service fees).

VaxApp makes the whole process simple for you by:

  • Automatically sending customised reminders based on personalised client profiles
  • Processing payments when clients book appointments
  • Providing order reports based on demand to reduce vaccine wastage
  • Immediately issuing payment receipts
  • Handling any refunds where required
  • Reconciling weekly with a single transfer and itemised list of vaccinations – reducing manual admin for your finance team

And, of course, you’ve always got the flexibility to customise which vaccines you’d like to offer your community (paid or NIP-funded), adjusting them seasonally as required.

Start running off-site vaccination programs

One of the most convenient ways to immunise more people in your community – outside of your in-pharmacy sessions – is to run off-site vaccination programs.

And one of the easiest ways to do that, is to incorporate VaxApp’s Workplace Vaccination module into your repertoire.

With a dedicated portal for each organisation, you can make the process effortless for all staff – both yours and the workplaces’ that you’re delivering the service to.

Through VaxApp’s Workplace Vaccination module you’ll simplify your vaccination programs by:

  • Sharing unique links for workplaces with staff so they can book online and provide consent digitally
  • Allocating and managing vaccination vouchers digitally
  • Adding multiple sessions across multiple office locations where required
  • Reviewing AIR history in real-time prior to administering a vaccination
  • Offering your workplace clients real-time reporting so they can see their staff who have booked and been vaccinated
  • Enabling your workplace clients to easily export reports for their HR records

It’s just another way that growing your impact, and bottom line, becomes a whole lot more streamlined with VaxApp.

VaxApp empowers immunisation providers to:

Manage online bookings

Automate manual admin

Update AIR in real-time
