Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI) Surveillance and Reporting (Coming Soon)

VaxApp’s active surveillance capture vaccines side effect via automated email and SMS. 

  • communications are personalised for every recipient or guardian, at intervals relevant to the specific vaccine/s administered. 
  • The vaccine injection site and method is recorded by the provider when administering the vaccine to customise side-effect monitoring. 
  • If a side effect is reported, clients can provide more information such as uploading images of any localised reactions (rash, redness, swelling) for evaluation by health officials; and directed to medical assistance. 
  • VaxApp’s data analytics team is developing predictive analysis to identify trends and patterns to improve vaccine safety and support governing safety bodies. 
  • For Severe Adverse events, VaxApp requires as few as 15 data fields for recipients, guardians and immunisation providers to complete a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) report. We automatically link all relevant vaccination records with recipient and Immunisation provider details to enable rapid reporting to State and Territory Health Departments, governing bodies and the TGA.
